Saima
Saima is a sheltered inlet of Kozushima with a steep-sided underwater valley and a shelf of table coral at about 8 m. Spiny lobsters line the rock cracks.
Both sides of the main channel rise as sheer walls, which Nangoku likens to flying through the sky. The table coral colony on the 8 m shelf gives a tropical feel. PADI Japan reports no current, while Nangoku treats it as a drift site reached in about fifteen minutes from Maehama.
