St. Pierre

Also known as: Saint Pierre

St. Pierre sits in the middle of the Curieuse Marine National Park north of Praslin. The granite above water continues below as grooves and crevices full of life. Coral gardens host mantis shrimp, nudibranchs, crabs, shrimp and clownfish in their anemones, which makes the site popular with photographers. A cave on the eastern side shelters corals, reef fish and sometimes a whitetip reef shark. The shallow, protected water suits beginners, but experienced divers also enjoy it.
