Mellow Yellow
Also known as: Yellow Mellow
Mellow Yellow is a pinnacle dive whose current side is covered in yellow soft coral trees, which only fully open when the current runs. Schools of scalefin and bicolour anthias can be so dense that they hide the coral. Grey reef sharks, schools of barracuda and turtles are seen around the pinnacle, while scorpionfish, nudibranchs and small shrimps live in the cracks. LiveAboard.com also recommends it as a night dive for lionfish, flatworms and shrimps. Dive The World counts it among the deeper, more exposed sites of the Vatu-i-Ra Passage.
