Sawara Ne
Also known as: サワラ根 (Japanese)
Fully exposed to the open sea, the site is also a well-known shore fishing spot. Sand tiger sharks are seen steadily around 30 m from winter to early summer, and dogtooth tuna are common in spring. Giant trevally, barracuda, Spanish mackerel, oceanic sharks and huge schools of fusiliers occur. Currents are usually fast, so timing the entry matters.
