Le Dalton
Le Dalton was a British cargo steamer, built in Stockholm, that was lost at Planier island in 1928 after a navigation error while carrying lead ingots. The 70 m wreck is heavily broken, with the bow pointing towards the island at about 15 m and the propeller and rudder still in place at about 30 m. It lies just off the landing quay on the north side of the island, so it is often visited at the end of a Messerschmitt dive. Groupers are among the residents.
