Okubohama
Also known as: Okubogahama
The underwater landscape mixes drop-offs, overhangs, sand and artificial fish reefs, and shops say the number of species here is outstanding. A clownfish colony, seahorses, frogfish and many nudibranchs are regular finds, and bigfin reef squid spawn from spring to early summer. Amberjack and other migratory fish pass by, and angel sharks rest on the sand in early summer. The standard route follows a rock wall, and the shallow depth suits beginners as well as experienced divers.
