Julie's Wall

The site carries the name of a local nurse who liked to shore dive here at weekends. Its rare feature on the East End is an overhanging wall that keeps the area under it in permanent twilight. That dim light suits large, colourful sponges that normally grow much deeper. A mini wall close to the main wall adds a brighter, sunlit part to the same dive. Porcupinefish are often seen cruising just above the reef.
