Anchor Point

Also known as: Anchor Pt.

Old charts marked this partly sheltered cove as a good anchorage in the early days of settlement, which gave the site its name. Its roof tapers upward like a cone and is split at the top, which lets daylight in all the way through. West of the exit, small headlands and ledges hold blue and brown chromis. The operator rates this stretch of north wall as one of the East End's best places for hawksbill and green turtles.
