Bert Brothers Boulders
Also known as: Bert Brother's
Bert Brothers Boulders honours the Bert family, Brackers who were long involved in local dive operations. The site is a medium-depth reef where closely spaced spur-and-groove ridges build mountains of coral heads between the sand flats and the offshore wall. Elkhorn corals crown the ridges, while the narrow gullies hold soft corals, tube sponges and hard corals. Swim-throughs and large undercuts frame beams of sunlight for wide-angle photographers and have sheltered a large resident green moray eel.
