Antipolis
Also known as: MV Antipolis
Both the Antipolis and the Romelia were on their way from Greece to be scrapped in the Far East when their tow cables parted, and the Antipolis hull was later cut down to the waterline. Pipes, hull plating and large valves lie scattered over the reef, and sunlight filtering into the engine room is a highlight in clear water. Rock lobster hide in dark corners, and pyjama sharks and shysharks live in the surrounding kelp. Access from the road is steep and entry needs some boulder hopping, followed by a swim of about 60 m. It is a good first wreck dive in calm conditions.
