Punta Azul Canyons

Also known as: Punta Azul · Punta Azule Canyons

Punta Azul lies where a pointed section of reef catches a gentle current coming down from Mexico. Over time the water has carved arches into the reef that divers swim through. The current carries food, so barracuda hang around to hunt and large eagle rays come to feed. Nassau groupers, horse-eye jacks, snappers, lobsters and spider crabs are also seen.
