Dive center Manta Diving Center

Manta Diving Madeira is based in Caniço de Baixo, Madeira, Portugal. It teaches in German and offers training in small groups, from try dives and beginner courses to advanced courses, assistant and instructor training, plus further specialty courses including freediving. The centre is set directly in the underwater marine reserve, with the house reef only 30 metres from the pool and the Atlantic, and no boat trips needed there. Boat dives reach sites such as Cap Garajau, the Afonso Cerqueira wreck, Blue Hole, Holy Wall, Garajau Drift, Sardinen Plateau and Canyon Riff. The diving includes wreck, wall, drift and reef sites, with spots in the Garajau underwater nature park and depths from 4 to 34 metres. The centre has modern rental equipment, nitrox, and on-site facilities including warm showers, toilets, changing rooms, a restaurant and bar.
