Dive center Crescent Hitachiten

Crescent Hitachiten is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center in Hitachi, Ibaraki, Japan, serving divers from the Joban Line area and farther afield. It runs in a family-like, friendly atmosphere, with beginners especially welcome, and keeps a very small teaching ratio: one-to-one in the pool and two-to-one in open water for beginner certification courses. The centre offers dive training from try dives through beginner licenses and onward to pro courses, alongside EFR, Rescue Diver and other specialty courses. It also runs day tours to places such as Atami, Hatsushima, Osezaki, Nishizaki and Tago, with options that include reef diving, wrecks, a cave dive in West Izu, and drift dives. The team includes instructors based in Hitachi, and the centre works year-round.
