Benthos Divers is in Onna Village, Okinawa, Japan. It runs small-group diving from a beachfront base on Diamond Beach, with boat dives reaching the points in about five minutes and shore dives from the same area. The centre focuses on Onna Village and northern Okinawa, and it works in a sea it treats with care, following Green Fins principles. A single guide handles the diving, bringing long experience and a strong background in marine research. Fun diving includes beach, boat and night dives, plus snorkelling and skin diving; Nitrox is available. SDI courses include Open Water Diver, Advanced Adventure Diver, Rescue Diver, Nitrox Diver and CPR + O2 Provider, alongside further specialty courses.
