Dive center Arian Diving Centre
Arian Diving Centre on Kos Island, Greece, has been based in Kardamena since 1978 and works with both recreational and professional divers. It runs half-day boat trips with two dives, usually lasting 45 minutes underwater each, and keeps groups to a maximum of 10 divers with at least two instructors on board. The diving around Kos offers volcanic scenery, caves, walls, a bubble reef, and sites such as Santa Irini and Strongili Island, with visibility often 30 metres or more. A massive ancient shipwreck anchor and Greek amphoras appear among the sites, alongside Mediterranean marine life including octopus, cuttlefish, moray eels, nudibranchs, amberjacks, barracudas, sponges, turtles and seals. The centre is an ANDI and SSI Resort, and courses range from scuba entry-level training to SSI Divemaster, including Nitrox and rescue training.
