Hu Shun Yu 809 Wreck

Also known as: Hu Shun Yu · El Chino · Barco Chino

The vessel was seized by the Argentine Naval Prefecture for illegal fishing and later sunk as an artificial reef, the most recent of the scuttled ships according to Aquatours. It lies on its starboard side and its openings are covered with grates, so divers explore the exterior only. Lobo Larsen rates it medium to high difficulty, and Aquatours suggests nitrox for longer bottom times. Colonisation is still sparse, mostly sea squirts, urchins, crabs and starfish.
