Elmo's Wall
Elmo's Wall is a sheltered south-side East End wall formed by a narrow east-west ridge, with sand at about 70 ft on the inside and the open drop on the outside.
Its name comes from a divemaster who never went out on the boat without a plush Elmo. The dive usually starts through a straight, corridor-like swim-through below the boat. Divers should watch their depth on the sloping sand. Protected from wind and waves, it is a calm option on windy days.
