A remote Chilean archipelago off Valparaiso with high marine endemism, best known for diving with South American fur seals.

The Juan Fernandez archipelago consists of Robinson Crusoe, Santa Clara, and Alejandro Selkirk islands. Diving is centered on Robinson Crusoe Island, with over a dozen documented dive sites featuring underwater caves and rock formations. The archipelago is noted for high marine endemism and is popular for encountering South American fur seals. Much of the land was declared a national park in 1935, the surrounding waters became a marine park in 2018, and the archipelago is recognized as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
