Lake Constance is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Central and Western Europe, shared by Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, with a long shoreline offering a range of freshwater dive sites.

Lake Constance lies at the point where Germany, Switzerland, and Austria meet, bordered by the German states of Baden-Wuerttemberg and Bavaria. It is the third-largest freshwater lake by surface area in Central and Western Europe, with a surface area of about 536 km2, an average depth of about 90 m, and a maximum depth of about 251 m. The lake includes several notable islands such as Mainau, Reichenau, and Lindau.
