Dahab is a small town on the Gulf of Aqaba coast of Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, widely known as a diving hub for all skill levels along its fringing coral reef coastline. The Blue Hole lies within this region.
Dahab is located in the South Sinai Governorate on Egypt's Gulf of Aqaba coast, made up of the areas Masbat, Mashraba and Medina. Dahab is often described as the diving capital of South Sinai, with a shore-accessible fringing reef that supports diving and snorkelling for a wide range of skill levels, alongside windsurfing and general beach tourism.
