Falkensteinwand

The Falkenstein wall drops steeply into the Wolfgangsee beyond the Fürberg bay. Divers walk about 300 m from the Fürberg bay or join a local boat service; boat trips there require advanced certification and experience on walls. The wall drops vertically with overhangs, caves and a grotto, and divers report lamps reaching 60 m and more without seeing the bottom. To the right of the bay lies the small wall, to the left the large one. A spawning-protection closure applies from 15 March to 10 May, and in the bathing season the landowner charges parking and access fees.
