Yeyou Fault
También conocido como: 椰油斷層 (chino (tradicional, Taiwán))
Divers enter at the small Yeyou harbour and kick out over a slope where clownfish and anemones live in a few metres of water. About 80 m from shore an open platform with soft corals and tropical fish leads to the fault line, where the bottom falls steeply from the low 20s of metres to more than 80 m. Caves along the way hide boxer crabs and shrimps, and bigeyes, soldierfish and fusiliers swim over the corals. The Yeyou area lies in the lee of the north-east monsoon, so it is the usual place for intro and training dives in winter. Fishing nets are set in the area, so divers keep clear of them.
