The volcanic dive coastline of Tenerife, the largest Canary Island, spanning well-known sites from Puerto de la Cruz and Garachico in the north to Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje in the south.
Tenerife's diving is concentrated along volcanic coastal terrain shaped by lava tubes and basaltic arches, with sites including La Catedral and the Garachico Tunnel in the north and El Bufadero and Los Chuchos in the south. Much of the south-western coastline, from Teno to Punta Rasca, lies within the Franja Marina de Teno-Rasca Natura 2000 area (declared 2011), protecting bottlenose dolphins and loggerhead turtles and recognised in 2021 as a Whale Heritage Site.
