Negril Marine Park

Jamaica

Negril Marine Park protects the reef system along Jamaica's western tip at Negril, one of the country's most established dive and snorkel destinations.

Officially designated in 1998, the park covers about 160 km2 along a roughly 33 km coastal stretch from Davis Cove to St. John's Point, extending about two miles out to sea. More than 20 named dive sites are found along Negril's coastline, including The Throne Room and Shark's Reef, plus wreck sites including a sunken DC-3 aircraft. No sourced centre coordinate for the marine park boundary itself was found.
