Northern Mariana Islands
A designated underwater heritage trail of 12 WWII wreck and relic sites spread across Saipan's Tanapag and Chalan Kanoa lagoons.
Coordinates mark Tanapag Harbor, where 9 of the trail's 12 sites are concentrated (the trail has no single official coordinate of its own). The trail comprises two auxiliary vessels, four aircraft (Japanese 'Emily' and 'Jake' seaplanes, a US Martin PBM Mariner and a US TBM Avenger), three landing vehicles, and three semi-submerged Sherman tanks near Oleai and Susupe beaches in Chalan Kanoa Lagoon.
