Culebra and Vieques are two offshore Puerto Rican islands northeast of the mainland, known for exceptionally clear water, coral reefs, sea caves, and a wreck.
Culebra and Vieques sit roughly 9-20 miles off Puerto Rico's northeast coast and, lacking freshwater runoff, are noted for some of the clearest dive water in the region. Culebra offers close to 50 charted dive sites, including the reef off Carlos Rosario and the sunken tugboat Wit Power. Vieques' best-known site is Mosquito Pier, where hawksbill and green turtles, eagle rays, stingrays, and moray eels are commonly reported. No combined centre coordinate for both islands as one region was found, so none is set here.
