Beqa Lagoon is a large barrier-reef lagoon off the south coast of Viti Levu, internationally known for shark diving at the Shark Reef Marine Reserve.
Beqa Lagoon lies off the southern coast of Viti Levu, enclosed by one of the world's largest barrier reef systems, with Beqa Island situated about 10 kilometres offshore. Within the lagoon, the Shark Reef Marine Reserve was established in April 2004, becoming Fiji's first marine area protected specifically for sharks, and it was later designated Fiji's first National Marine Park in 2014. No single named coordinate for the lagoon itself is published, only for Beqa Island, so none is set here.
