Bayahibe

Dominican Republic

Bayahibe is the Dominican Republic's leading dive hub on the south coast, offering shallow reefs, two offshore islands, and several wrecks near La Romana.

Bayahibe sits on the Caribbean south coast of the Dominican Republic, about 16 km east of La Romana. It offers more than 20 recognized dive sites, including shallow nearshore reefs, the wall off Isla Catalina, reef sites inside a national park, and wrecks including the Atlantic Princess and the St. George. The area also serves as the boat departure point for trips to Saona Island.
