Adventure Outfitters is a family-run SDI 5-Star Dive Center in Tampa, Florida, United States, serving divers heading to the Gulf of Mexico. Its charters range from two- and three-tank recreational trips to spearfishing, technical and wreck diving, CCR and DPV outings, including excursions to the Middlegrounds. The Gulf’s shallow offshore geography features artificial reefs and ledges; dives beyond 100 feet require travelling 30 to 40 miles offshore, while shore diving is available for fossil and shark-tooth hunting. The 32-foot catamaran Zen Dog is equipped for offshore diving and spearfishing. Gulf temperatures range from the upper 80s in summer to the upper 50s in winter. The centre also supports community dive cleanups and provides SDI and IANTD professional development, instructor training, freediving and technical courses.
