You won’t get salty seas in Switzerland, obviously, but the alpine lakes and rivers here make for distinctive and magical scuba diving. Lake Geneva has a range of dives to discover. Wall dives and weird freshwater panorama can be perused under the surface. Another is Lake Zurich, where you can head to superb scuba spots right from the seashore. The lake is peacefully set, with lofty mountains surging upward from the lakeshore. Glacially fed, the lake has magnificent visibility. River divers will be blown away by the Verzasca, an incredibly clear river found just south of the Alps close to the border of Italy.
