Where the Weißenbach flows into the lake at road kilometre 19.6, the stream has built up deep layers of leaves, branches and roots. Burbot hide under branches and in old tyres, and a night diver also reported eels, perch, grayling and chub. Three linked platforms at 8, 10 and 20 m stand far right in the bay; below 20 m the slope is bare. Stonewort and mussel-covered stones cover the shallows. The mouth is closed to divers from mid-November to mid-December for the lake trout spawning.
