Piège à Requins lies off the pass of L'Ermitage and starts with a long descent through open water. On a flat rocky bottom a mass a few metres high appears, the remains of a small fish-aggregating device a fisherman once set up for bait. Despite the name there are no sharks. Instead large groupers, batfish, big lionfish, giant moray eels and large schools of snappers gather around it.
