Batu Nisan

The site begins right at the Long Beach jetty, where schools of fish greet divers on entry. Large rocks rise from the sand, home to giant clams, anemones and Christmas tree worms. Blue-spotted rays, stingrays and Indian walkman are typical bottom dwellers, and juvenile blacktip reef sharks patrol the shallows. At night crabs, shrimps, squid and sleeping parrotfish come into view. Dive centres use it for refreshers, buoyancy work and photography practice.
