Grotte du Capelan

The Grotte du Capelan opens in the calanque of Sormiou, with its entrance at about 10 to 12 m. Its far end comes out into open air, so divers turn round and swim back the same way, enjoying spectacular reflections and colours. The dive then continues out of the calanque towards the Bec de Sormiou along a vertical, rather smooth wall. Many smaller cavities line the inner part of the calanque.
