Chishi (知志)

A steep wall continues underwater and leads into a cave whose ceiling is split by cracks. On sunny days the light falls through them in moving beams, and if no other groups are around divers can take their time for photos. Besides the main cave there is a second swim-through and several cracks that cannot be passed. Table corals on the rocks outside have recovered after crown-of-thorns damage some years ago, according to Diving WG. Because the site faces north it is mainly dived in summer when southerly winds blow.
