Here the main wall slopes from the surface to about 10 to 15 m, where a broad sandy plateau begins before falling away beyond 40 m. Sand patches alternate with coral formations, and in places the reef forms small vertical walls. Macro photographers find stonefish, scorpionfish, lionfish and masked octopus, while butterflyfish, emperor angelfish, cuttlefish and glassfish are common. Eagle rays, barracuda and snappers pass by, and moderate currents make relaxed one-way drifts possible. The protected conditions also make it a favourite night dive.
