North Seymour Channel
別名: Seymour Channel · Seymour Canal
The channel between Mosquera islet and North Seymour is one of the closest sites to the Itabaca Channel and a regular day-trip dive. Divers descend onto sand, where hundreds of endemic garden eels rise from the bottom, and drift up a gentle slope to a rocky reef. Cleaning stations on the reef draw whitetip reef sharks and hammerheads, and schools of eagle rays, golden rays and mobulas pass by. The guides often swim out into the blue and back to look for pelagic sharks. Currents are usually moderate but can pick up surprisingly, which makes it a typical drift dive.
