Airport Point

Airport Point lies very close to Bocas Town and is protected from wind, waves and current, which makes it one of the calmest sites in the bay. The bottom is dotted with coral heads of many species and colours. Divers report tropical reef fish, sea urchins, rays and northern stargazers. Its shelter and easy conditions make it a favoured site for first dives and courses. It is also known as Whorehouse, a name said to go back to a brothel of earlier days.
