Divers cross the dike at Haven Kloosternol, walk down to a small beach east of the tower and wade in until they can put on their fins. Keeping the jetty on one side, they circle the tower and its basalt blocks, which reach fairly deep and are full of life, and return along the other side. In front of the beach lies a small, probably motor-cruiser wreck, sometimes called the forgotten wreck, which makes four dive wrecks at Scharendijke. Parking, toilets, a hotel, a restaurant and a fill station are close by.
