Divers park at a large car park next to the entry and go in on the left side of the small headland, where slippery boulders make the entry a little awkward. Heading left at about 10 m, they reach the sunken VW Beetle after roughly ten minutes, though it is easy to miss in poor visibility. Tree trunks, roots and rocks around the car create an underwater forest scene, and crayfish are common, while one source finds fish rare and a club report mentions perch and a large pike. The silty bottom is stirred up easily. A local dive school calls it a relaxed dive, and the walchensee.net site guide recommends it for beginners and night dives.
