AX-Factor Dive House Reef

The house reef lies in front of AX-Factor Dive in the sheltered Koko Bay at Toula, about 3.5 km south of Neiafu, and is dived from the centre's jetty. Sand with scattered coral heads gives way westward to a slope that reaches about 33 m, where the coral grows thick and fine. The dive centre found fluorescent corals and nudibranchs on this reef and runs UV night dives on it. Sea snakes, Picasso triggerfish, clownfish in their anemones, barracuda and moray eels are among the reported life.
