WIT Concrete

Conosciuto anche come: W.I.T. Concrete

The WIT Concrete was built in 1943 and later worked carrying fuel and water between the islands. She first went down in the West Gregerie Channel during a hurricane, too close to the shipping lanes, so she was lifted and towed offshore south of St. Thomas to become an artificial reef. The wreck stands upright and largely intact, with swim-throughs into most compartments and fittings such as cage lights and the auxiliary steering wheel still in place. Horse-eye jacks, French angelfish, lobsters, stingrays, nurse sharks and a resident goliath grouper are reported. A light is needed inside the hull.
