Eel Garden

Eel Garden lies off a small beach, and a small cave at the top of the sandy slope appears to pour a V-shaped stream of sand down the plateau. The middle of the slope is covered with garden eels that sway in the water and vanish into the sand when divers approach too quickly. The route then follows a reef wall of mainly hard corals, with black coral trees growing from it. Cowfish, sand divers and feathertail stingrays share the sand. Red Sea Marine describes a submerged reef and canyon in front of the site that is deep enough to suit technical or advanced nitrox divers.
