Madonna
The Madonna site lies on the Traunsee shore road near the two Sonnstein tunnels, about 1.5 km south of Traunkirchen, with north and south entries at the ends of the car park. Off the north entry a rowboat lies at about 7 m, and a mud slope leads into a bay with trunks, plants and branches where perch, pike and eels live. The steep wall begins in the left corner of the bay and runs past the statue's point. It drops to a plateau at about 20 m and then on to depths reported as 80 m and beyond, up to about 120 m. Adventure Diving also takes divers here by boat.
