Keystone Pilings
Keystone Pilings lies in 10 to 35 ft among the remains of an old wharf at Fort Casey State Park. Painted anemones in many colours, giant feather-duster worms, plumose anemones and sea stars grow on the pilings, and sculpins, greenling, lingcod and octopus live among them. The pilings give some shelter from current, as divers can stay on the downstream side of a piling. Octopus Gardens recommends it as a second dive after the jetty, and Sea Otter notes that it is surprisingly shallow. PNW Diving warns that the site is not as healthy as it used to be.
