The wreck of a Messerschmitt 109 fighter rests upside down on a sandy bottom at about 45 m off the northern face of Planier island. The aircraft is small and not easy to locate, so skippers use landmarks on the island to find it. Divers often combine it with the Planier wall and the Dalton wreck on the way up, keeping a close eye on air and stops. Plongée Tek Marseille asks for French level 3 with advanced nitrox.
