The name refers to the hidden rock that lies below the surface off western Kuba Island. Divers anchor at about 10 m on coral where there is no current, but moving out towards the open sea the flow gets faster. The seabed drops below 40 m, and Liberte names longnose hawkfish around 30 m among the rare small fish of the deep slope. Divingpoint.net mentions fusiliers and other schooling fish around the rock.
