Sarıyarlar
Conosciuto anche come: Sariyarlar · Sariyarlar Bay · Yellow Stones
Sarıyarlar, the 'yellow stones', is a small bay with a beach that suits training in front of the shore and more ambitious dives from the cape at its entrance. Along the wall a chain of tunnels, a one-way cave and swim-throughs under large fallen blocks lead from the deeper section back towards the shallows. The tunnels are full of cave sweepers, and sand smelt swirl around the rocks. The seagrass and sand in front of the beach once held dozens of seahorses, which disappeared as anchoring and grazing turtles stripped the bottom. Divers still look for octopus, sea hares, turtles and stingrays on the route back to the boat, and the bay is used for night dives.
