Aquarium Reef
Conosciuto anche come: Akvaryum Reef
The dive starts inside Aquarium Bay and heads north and then north-west to a sandy patch where stingrays and young groupers are often seen. Beyond it a wall slopes away into deeper water, and divers continue onto a plateau with rocky outcrops and several large pinnacles. Groupers, breams, morays, lionfish, crabs and lobsters hide in the cracks, and the dive guide finds nudibranchs here in every season. European Diving Centre asks divers to watch the blue near the pinnacles, where barracuda are nearly always hunting. A shorter route around the smaller part of the reef is used for newly certified divers.
