Fenwick Island

The trawler rests in a depression where the current flows over the hull, leaving the wheelhouse, fish hold and deck in the lee. Sand periodically covers and uncovers parts of the wreck. Sheepshead, spadefish, black sea bass, grouper and flounder are common, and NC Wreck Diving reports a very large manta ray on the site. Discovery Diving mentions an 'S' welded to the smokestack.
